Andy Lee MBA MCIPD is a former political advisor to Government, a national and regional award winning news journalist and editor, author and public speaker.

For 15 years Andy led the Corporate Communications, Community Engagement, Public Affairs and Customer Services functions for large scale public, private and third sector organisations.

Andy has extensive experience in delivering business improvements through consultancy and training is an organisational change and communications/commercial expert with an extensive academic pedigree, a natural enthusiasm and a client focussed collaborative style which has seen him work with global brands like Coca Cola and IKEA.

Geoffrey Rea

Geoffrey Rea MBA is a subject matter expert in Project Controls and Programme Management with over 20 years experience.

He is an Office of Government Commerce (OGC) High Risk Project Review Team Leader, PRINCE2 Practitioner and an IT expert in Programme Management software.

He is a delivery focused individual in project management, risk, planning and cost control of major projects in the Private and Public Sector.

Geoffrey has the ability to impact on business / project, financial and resource performance, fulfilling project direction and management roles. Analytical & task-focused, he offers a methodical & structured approach to problem solving with strategic and tactical planning skills delivering immediate impacts.

Neil Shaefer
MCIPR, DipCIPR - Senior Consultant

 

A former journalist and Senior Reporter for the Hartlepool Mail and Chief Reporter of The Northern Echo newspaper in Darlington, Neil spent five years working for one of the UK’s largest public sector PR and marketing agencies, DTW. His key achievements at the agency included devising and delivering a media training programme for over 50 councillors and council officers at Sunderland City Council, delivering a national profile raising campaign for a new £335 million road crossing over the River Mersey between Widnes and Runcorn, which contributed to Government approval of the scheme, and carrying out numerous communications audits on behalf of local authorities, including Halton Borough Council, North East Lincolnshire Borough Council and Middlesbrough Borough Council. The audits, along with the road crossing campaign, included community involvement and engagement.

In 2006, Neil became Head of Communications & PR for Home, one of the UK’s largest housing associations. His key achievements included increasing media coverage by 100% and winning a national Affordable Home Ownership award for the marketing of the BoKlok ‘flat-pack’ homes in Gateshead.

Neil advises organisations in a number of sectors - waste management, private healthcare, housing and education - on PR and marketing issues and is a highly experienced crisis communications expert.
